Social marketingBurger King scores big with their viral marketing effortsBurger King created a brainchild of a social networking / viral marketing effort, while making fun of how, mindlessly, people add "friends" on Facebook. The idea was to give a free Whopper to everyone who deleted 10 of their facebook friends. Check out one of the smartest viral marketing efforts ever at Burger King Sacrifice. We've built this site for an event sponsored by the state of Georgia's Department of Human Resources. And because the site had a lifespan of only 4 months, building it inexpensively was critical.
