Terroir / Region: For centuries, the religious orders of Burgundy meticulously tended to the region’s vineyards. Pinot Noir is synonymous with Burgundy and produces some of the world’s most important and sought after wines.

Producer: Albert Bichot is a well-respected négociant family who own a number of vineyards throughout the entire region of Burgundy. The family also purchases grapes from small vineyard holders and blends them with their own fruit to produce a wine that expresses their own house style. This process is important in Burgundy because it creates enough critical volume for the wines to be exported.
