2019 – the year FL@33 turned 18.

At this occasion we would have loved to show you a still secret visual identity and packaging design we developed for a French Champagne brand and the client's modernised family crest. It will be worth the wait but this will now have to wait until next year...

What we can now show you, is a mix of some of the 2019 projects, including fresh new artworks for Stereohype, the foil-blocked 15th anniversary packaging for the graphic art label, a Fleabag stage chair photograph we took that Phoebe Waller-Bridge loves, for the third year running – an illustration for Italian paper company Fedrigoni, the Fedrigoni 366 launch party documentation, new logo and product development for new sportswear brand Soul Boy and super-elegant business cards we produced earlier this year for Location 68 featuring the new logo FL@33 designed for the UK-based consultancy for bespoke golfing experiences.

All this is sprinkled with a bit of press, announcements for forthcoming FL@33 design residencies in France with Master class workshops and lecture – and a reminder for all Londoners and visitors to come and say 'Hi!' on Saturday, December 14th, as we will have a scrumptious FL@33 / Stereohype stand at the House of Illustration Winter Fair 2019 inside Granary Building, King's X, 11am–5pm.

Happy newsletter-browsing!

Fredrigoni 366 with FL@33 contribution

Collaboration — Calendar 2020 type contribution

For a third year running FL@33 was invited by Italian paper company Fedrigoni and TM Studio to contribute a visual interpretation – this time of the number 28 for the date:
28 August 2020.
We also posted exhibition snaps.

'A typographic composition created with a series of points (full stops) set in 28 points using 28 fonts. The dotted lines and dot-matrix numerals of 28 consist of 28 points each.' Tomi Vollauschek

New Stereohype gift boxes

FL@33's sister company Stereohype celebrated its
15th anniversary

Stereohype  celebrated its 15th anniversary in 2019 and this year's FL@33-designed call for entries campaign reflected this particularly upbeat spirit. Countless origami squirrels that were – just between you and us meant to be folded for the 10th anniversary – finally saw the light of day in 2019. Not only was the origami squirrel used as main motif and as container and medium for this year's badge design competition announcements – we also introduced the idea to add a folded paper squirrel to every single order placed this year with graphic art label and online boutique stereohype.com.

We might make more squirrels next year but we'll have to wait and see.

For now we recommend to place an order by the Friday the 13th, midday – the very latest – to secure a free origami squirrel as the final shipping time this year is Friday evening. Browse stereohype.com's 2400+ graphic art products by colour, artist name, theme, product or release time, etc.

If you do – use the following code as an add-on checkout voucher when you order something else anyway, so that you can add a free button badge of your choice:

You are welcome! :)

Fleabag chair, London, West End

Fleabag – one photo, the play, the chair and a fog machine

Looking back at 2019 this Fleabag chair picture from September created a bit of a highlight a few months ago – so we finally decided to post it at flat33.com, too.

FL@33's Agathe Jacquillat took this photo minutes before Phoebe Waller-Bridge appeared on stage to perform her award-winning one-woman play Fleabag in London's West End. We posted it on Instagram that night and we received an email within hours from her personal assistant to let us know that Phoebe Waller-Bridge herself found the theatrical atmosphere Agathe captured 'AMAZING'.

And we were still over the moon from just seeing the brilliant play...

Prints are now available on demand.

Our contributions to Stereohype's FL@33-curated B.I.O. (By Invitation Only) Button Badge Series 19 that added 44 designs to the now 1539-strong collection. The designs were also applied to the more recently introduced Button Badge Motif Print edition that now features over 400 designs with commissioned artworks from talents we invite from around the world. FL@33 also contributes to these releases every year.

This time FL@33's Tomi Vollauschek created four minimal creations for vinyl lovers – a celebration of the good old 7" single record and various 45rpm Adaptors – the title of this set. All available at stereohype.com.
