Tasting Notes: Fresita combines Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Moscatel grapes with hand-picked strawberries from the foothills of the Andes mountains for a low-alcohol, intensely flavoured sparkler.

Style: The winemaking team ferments each grape variety separately before carefully blending them for a second fermentation and the addition of strawberry pulp, which is left in the wine (and the bottle). This process creates a sparkling wine with a deep rose-pink colour which is refreshing and strawberry sweet.
Terroir/Region: Growing grapes in Chile’s renowned Maipo and Colchagua valleys, the staff at Viña Casal de Gorchs is able to use the effects of the Pacific Ocean to the west and the Andes mountains to the east to create balanced and refreshing sparkling wines.
Producer: After immigrating to Chile from Spain, the Rabat family was determined to continue its winemaking traditions in its adopted home. Now, after founding Viña Casal de Gorchs over 80 years ago, the family is at the top of its game. It only produces sparkling wines and you will taste this dedication in every sip.
