Call for Participation in Peer-to-Peer WorkshopThe implementation phase of the Smarter Together project is underway, and it’s time to benefit from the lessons learnt so far! A Look Back on #SmarterTogether in 2017 Smarter Together Presented at Lisbon ConferenceOn 29 November, the Smarter Together project and its developments were presented at a conference in Lisbon titled “Smart Cities – Cities of the Future” which explored the theme of carbon neutrality as a promoter of technological and social innovation. Lighthouse Projects Lead the Way to a Smarter Europe at #SCEWC1712 smart city projects covering almost 60 cities across Europe came together at the Smart City Expo in Barcelona from 14-16 November to show how cities are leading the way in driving sustainable and smart innovation. Empowering Smart Solutions for Better Cities with SCISFrom 2-3 October 2017, Smarter Together participated in the conference “Empowering Smart Solutions for Better Cities,” organized by the Smart Cities Information System in Budapest, Hungary. From Smarter Together Munich Munich's Urban City Lab Gears up for Move in 2018At Munich’s Urban Living Lab, a creative review of 2017 was followed by an exciting look ahead to all that Smarter Together has in store for 2018. Upcoming Events Connected Smart Cities Conference 11 January - Brussels, Belgium OASC’s annual Connected Smart Cities Conference (CSCC) brings together representatives of cities, international institutions, academia and industry to discuss this year’s theme: “Cities Driving the Digital Transition” Peer-to-Peer Knowledge Exchange Workshop 17-19 January - Munich, Germany The second Peer-to-Peer Knowledge Exchange Workshop organized by Smarter Together will seek to address the most important challenges and risks we share in the implementation projects across cities and thematic fields. KSF - GDC Conference: Imagine the Urban Future 23 January - Brussels, Belgium This event will gather city representatives, policy makers and experts from across Europe to debate over expectations, opportunities and the impact of digital technologies in co-creating future cities and societies, with citizens.
