Click here Register to Move-In NOW OPENALL students must pre-register for a move-in timeslot to stay safe and allow physical distancing for you, your family, and the staff at Housing and Dining. You will be able to register online between July 27-30, 2020 for your preferred timeslot to move-in to your new home on campus. Space during each timeslot will be limited and offered on a first-come-first-served basis. You can also keep checking this page for updates.
Students who do NOT sign up for a move-in timeslot by July 30 will be assigned a date and time. All New and Transfer Students (including Gateway and Math Placement) will have their Orientation track tied to their move-in date. Please be very careful in choosing the best date and time that works for you as it will be very difficult to modify your move-in selection after July 30. However, if you do need to adjust your move-in timeslot, please contact Housing and Dining Services immediately at 217-581-5111. COVID-19 might impact your housing experience as we continue to make public health-informed decisions for the health and safety of all residents. We will continuously update you with specific health and safety guidelines important for you as a residential student. As part of the EIU residential community, you are responsible for all policies, procedures, and guidelines as outlined in the Housing & Dining On-Campus Handbook. For the fall 2020 - spring 2021 academic year, a few sections have been added to further support the health and safety of our residential communities. Read the student expectations guideline here.
