Dear Colleagues,
I am contacting you to let you know about some of our on-going ASEE data collections activities.
-
We are looking for people interested in presenting on tools or methods they have for analyzing ASEE data, and specifically Profiles data. We will, after gauging the interest, coordinate 1-2-hour virtual workshops through the summer into September to highlight work being done with our data. If you are interested in participating, please fill out this form:
https://forms.gle/kgPqqdQe7TfPSP1x9
We will reach out as we get responses. If you are unsure that you want to do a 1-2 hour talk, please submit anyway. We will work to accommodate multiple persons with similar topics into one workshop. For those who present, we are offering $500 stipends. The short workshops will be announced widely, free to attend and made freely available after presentation for the community.
- We are shifting the bi-annual ASEE Retention and Completion Survey to a later open. The survey will open on July 6, 2021 and close on September 30, 2021. We will send more information next month about the retention survey.
- We have turned on the API for the EDMS: https://ira.asee.org/api-access-to-the-edms/
-
The 2020 Profiles data is available in the EDMS currently, but there have been some delays as we have worked with institutions to submit data after the original deadline. The Profiles 2020 full publication and by the numbers will be available by July 15, 2021 and sent to institutions.
-
Finally, we reached out to admissions contacts last week about a survey we are doing for Fall 2021 application data: http://createsend.com/t/y-8AF94A6FBC332DEA2540EF23F30FEDED
The survey itself is here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/R2DKXRJ
Thank you to institutions who have participated. The full survey is viewable (pdf) here: https://ira.asee.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/SurveyMonkey_305917077.pdf
Take care,
Joe
