Sarcoma News CornerGreat news! The FDA has approved the drug Vitrakvi (larotrectinib) for cancers that have the TRK fusion. This includes some sarcomas, including infantile fibrosarcoma which had an outstanding response to it. Researchers tested different sugars in osteosarcoma cells and found that one, mannose, actually reduced tumor growth rate, AND dramatically increased cell death when combined with either cisplatin or doxorubicin.
