Explore the city with our 3-for-1 Weekend Special

Let your mum and dad know that our 3-for-1 Weekend Special continues until 15 October 2015. This means that when they buy one adult one-day ticket (for R170), two kids (under 18) ride for free. If they buy the ticket online it will cost only R150, which means they'll save even more.

You will have your very own channel to listen to on the bus and you'll get a free activity book. 

Remember that terms and conditions apply, and the 3-for-1 Weekend Special can't be combined with any of our other special offers. 

We're giving away tickets

You could soon be hopping on and off the red bus with your family – we're giving away a set of family tickets (two adults and two children) for the Joburg Red City Tour to two lucky winners.

1. The Carlton Centre (stop 3) is the highest building in Africa.  
2. At the James Hall Museum of Transport (stop 5) you'll see cars that are more than 100 years old.
3. Gold Reef City (stop 6) has super-fast roller coasters, but also fun rides for kids. 
4. At Sci-Bono Discovery Centre (picture above) in Newtown (stop 9) you can learn how electricity works, learn how to save money and play loads of games. 
5. You can see rock art and find out more about the San people at the Origins Centre at Wits (stop 10).

Sci-Bono Discovery Centre is celebrating Earth Science Week from 14 to 18 September. You'll be able learn more about biodiversity, the eco-system and renewable energy in fun ways that include theatre performances and science shows.
