2022-2023 School year has begun!
The annual ritual of college-bound teenagers, Move-In Weekend at Eastern Mennonite University means all hands on deck. Faculty, staff and student staff welcomed a new group of first-years to campus on Saturday, Aug. 27, and returning students on Sunday, Aug. 28. Orientation weekend was a busy couple days! We're excited for the year to begin and look forward to enjoying sporting events, music and theater events and see students engaging around campus!
Homecoming and family weekend

New faculty
EMU welcomed 12 new faculty for the 2022-23 academic year. Four were hired as a cohort hire - focusing on scholars who work collaboratively across different disciplines.

New Athletic Director named
Carrie S. Bert is Eastern Mennonite University's next director of athletics. Bert, a former volleyball coach and assistant director of athletics is the the first female to lead EMU Athletics in university history.
