Online video ads

We all know Google is the 800 lb. gorilla, so when they make predictions it's good to listen. And Google is banking that online video ads will be the next big thing in 2-3 years. It's all about interactively targeting ever-more sophisticated audiences. Since Google bought YouTube, now with 1 billion views a week, this is a good thing to keep on your radar.

And though you've seen this little clip about a motivational speaker who danced his way into becoming an interent video superstar, this is a perfect example of how to create something that gets you recognized, and rewarded.

Rationalization vs. Sex

Why is "rationalizing" more important than sex?

Because you can't get by one day without some sort of rationalization!

It's proven that people feel before they think, which explains why we decide by emotion, then rationalize to justify whatever it is we feel strongly about buying. And that is why you need your marketing to appeal to your buyers emotions in addition to their logic. We're big fans of Dan Hill, author of Emotionomics the "new" science of how people decide to buy.
