Do you work with students who want to study in the UK, but are worried how much it will cost? If so, we hope you'll be pleased to share this news with them...
There are hundreds of scholarships, bursaries and financial offers available at UK universities for students from Europe and around the world – and more are being launched every day.
In this email, we're sharing a small selection of the support that may be open to European students who decide to study at a UK university... keep your eyes open for more coming from us soon!
And remember, almost all UK universities have financial offers available. If we've not mentioned the university that you or your students are interested in, check their website and contact them, and encourage your students to do the same. They may well be able to offer support, or suggest where to find it, and they're always keen to hear from a passionate, proactive potential student!

SCHOLARSHIPS, BURSARIES AND FINANCIAL SUPPORT

UNIVERSITY OF ABERDEEN
EU undergraduate, postgraduate taught masters and PhD students who come to study at Aberdeen in 2021-22 will be eligible for new scholarships of up to £8,000 a year for the duration of their studies. These scholarships reconfirm the university’s commitment to its long-established European student community.

ASTON UNIVERSITY
Aston University was named University of the Year by The Guardian in November 2020. They focus on creating sustainable employability for students in an uncertain world and promote learning by doing. They give students the opportunity to gain valuable experience through placements, virtual internships and consultancy, with real employers with real problems. EU students with good grades can get scholarships of between £2,000 to £5,000 and apply for scholarships of up to £8,000.

UNIVERSITY OF BRADFORD
The University of Bradford is committed to supporting students across the globe in coming to university and invests over £4 million annually in scholarships. This includes the EU student scholarship, worth between £3,000 and £5,000, available to all students based in EU countries.

BRUNEL UNIVERSITY LONDON
Brunel University London are happy to announce that for entry in the 2021-22 academic year, eligible EU applicants will have the same tuition fees as UK students to support EU students during this transition period. UNIVERSITY OF DERBY
It's a great time to consider joining the University of Derby, located in the centre of England. Start in September 2021 and you may be eligible to receive the university's new EU transition bursary worth £4,500, which will help cover some of your tuition costs. The bursary is available to full-time students on Derby's undergraduate and postgraduate taught courses. The university can also provide advice on visa requirements

UNIVERSITY OF ESSEX
Essex have generous scholarships worth up to £7,000 for EU undergraduate and postgraduate students paying international fees in October 2021. The university is proud to be gold rated in the Teaching Excellence Framework 2017 and in the top 25 for research quality in The Sunday Times Good University Guide. GLASGOW CALEDONIAN UNIVERSITY
Glasgow Caledonian University believes education is for everyone, regardless of your financial circumstances. This is why the university offers a generous scholarship package of £2 million per year. To support the transition of EU students to their new fee status, the university has a number of scholarships that EU applicants can explore. UNIVERSITY OF HULL
The University of Hull has a long and proud history of providing opportunity for all. To ease the transition of the UK leaving the EU and help new students become part of Hull's vibrant postgraduate community, the university will match the fees for all international students on master’s degree programmes to their UK fees for the academic year beginning September 2021.

LANCASTER UNIVERSITY
Lancaster University will offer a generous scholarship of £7,000 to high-achieving EU nationals who are liable for international fees. This scholarship will assist with student fees for undergraduate and postgraduate taught programmes for 2021 entry. The Lancaster EU Transition Scholarship recognises the longstanding relationship the university has with students who are EU nationals and the significant changes arising from the UK’s departure from the EU.

LONDON SOUTH BANK UNIVERSITY
LSBU’s accessible Merit Scholarships and International scholarships are designed to support EU and non-UK students who are dreaming of studying in the heart of London. The university offers fee deductions between £1,570 and £4,000 a year. These scholarships apply automatically to your fees so you can focus on what’s really important: your new life in London!

NEWCASTLE UNIVERSITY
Newcastle University is pleased to offer automatic scholarships to all its prospective students from the EU applying for an undergraduate or postgraduate degree (including MRes) starting September 2021. Depending on the subject you would like to study, Newcastle offers scholarships of between 40 and 70 per cent of the international tuition fee. Additionally the university has 35 awards worth £6,000 each and two full fee scholarships available.

UNIVERSITY OF NORTHAMPTON
EU students joining UON in 2021-2 are eligible for the UON International Scholarship Scheme – unlimited automatic awards of up to 30 per cent offered as a fee discount for qualifying undergraduate and postgraduate students. The level of scholarship, depending on academic performance, can be up to £11,700 for three-year undergraduate or £4,200 for one-year postgraduate programmes. No additional application is required.

OXFORD BROOKES UNIVERSITY
Oxford Brookes say they will continue to do all they can to welcome EU students long into the future. The university is delighted to announce scholarships of £4,000 to all EU students who wish to join in the academic year 2021-22. If you meet the criteria, this scholarship will be applied automatically as a discount to your tuition fees across all years of study.

QUEEN MARY UNIVERSITY OF LONDON
Queen Mary University of London is delighted to offer £5,000 scholarships to support EU domiciled students wishing to join undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in September 2021. QMUL EU scholarships are available to students domiciled in EU countries and assessed as overseas fee payers. These awards are available for students joining eligible full-time undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Science, and the Faculty of Science and Engineering.

UNIVERSITY OF READING
In order to support EU students through the transition period from home fee status to international fee status, the University of Reading is offering a bursary of up to £6,000 to all eligible students resident in the EU. The bursary is available to students who are starting their studies in the 2021-22 academic year.

ROBERT GORDON UNIVERSITY
Robert Gordon is the Scottish University of the Year (The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2021), recognised for teaching excellence and a student-centred approach. In order to support European students affected by the change in fee status, the university has introduced an EU tuition fee status with competitive undergraduate and postgraduate fees. Undergraduate tuition fees start at £5,000 per year and one-year Masters programmes start at £5,640.

SOTHEBY'S INSTITUTE OF ART
The Institute is pleased to offer scholarships of up to £10,000 to EU and EEA students who are accepted to a Master’s programme in the 2021-22 academic year. Scholarships are awarded to offer holders based on need and merit. The London Master’s programmes are offered in six specialised subject areas, including Art Business and Contemporary Art. UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH WALES
USW is committed to making tuition fees as affordable as possible. Their undergraduate and postgraduate EU Scholarship scheme offers a generous scholarship for EU students joining in academic year 2021-22 who are classified as international students for fee purposes. The scholarship will ensure that tuition fees for EU students do not exceed the amount paid by UK students at USW for the duration of their studies.

UNIVERSITY OF STIRLING
Stirling want to support students affected by their change in fee status. Through this transition year 2021-2022, the university is offering two generous scholarships for EU domiciled students: an EU Undergraduate Scholarship of around £30,000 for four-year undergraduate programmes; and an EU Postgraduate Scholarship of at least £6,500 for one-year master's programmes. These are automatically given to eligible students, with no extra application necessary.

STUDY IN WALES
The Global Wales Postgraduate Scholarship programme offers 24 scholarships, each worth £10,000, to study a full-time masters programme in Wales. The scholarships are available to students from countries of the European Union, Vietnam, India and the USA. Applicants need to have applied for a place to study an eligible postgraduate programme at a Welsh university before submitting a scholarship application. UNIVERSITY OF SUNDERLAND
Find your moment at the University of Sunderland in 2021. The university offers a range of scholarships and discounts for students from the EU including a European student fee scholarship so you will only pay the UK tuition fee for the duration of your studies. What’s more, if you apply directly you could be eligible for a cashback scholarship worth up to £1,200 for undergraduate applicants and £800 for postgraduate applicants.

SWANSEA UNIVERSITY
Swansea wishes to support EU students who will be affected by the change in fee status with an EU Transitional Bursary. The bursary will be awarded as an automatic discount to tuition fees for EU students who join in the academic year 2021-22 and will reduce the fees to the same level as UK tuition fees for those who are eligible. This will apply for the duration of your course.
