9 Story Media Group & Brown Bag Films- 9 Story Media Group acquired Out of the Blue Enterprises (Emmy-nominated Super WHY, Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood, Creative Galaxy for Amazon Studios)
- Awards:
Shaftesbury- Emerald Code, a STEM web series for 8-12 year olds (in partnership with Shaw Rocket Fund, Let's Talk Science, and Ubisoft), launched on YouTube in 2017, and included a guest appearance by Minister of Science Kirsty Duncan
- As of October, YouTube series Carmilla had nearly 70 million views, fans in 193 countries, and was translated into 20 languages. The feature film was released in theatres for a one-night broadcast in 2018 and is now available online. A young adult book based on the series is in the works for 2019
- The Moblees series is now available on streaming service Ameba and on AmebaTV's channel on Amazon
