Preparing for the start of the semester No images? Click here NEW STUDENT ORIENTATIONIf you have an on-campus housing assignment, please move into your residence hall on Sunday, February 2, 2025. The first day of New Student Orientation (NSO) is specially designed for international students. On the second day of NSO, you will attend programs along with new American students. Attendance at New Student Orientation is required for all new students. Applying for housing, registering for classes - there are a lot of things to take care of before the start of the semester! Follow this helpful to-do list to stay on track. If this is your first time studying in the U.S., you will need to apply for a student visa at a U.S. embassy. It may take several weeks from when you start applying to when you receive your new visa, so please allow yourself plenty of time. Your PLU Gmail account is a very important tool and is used as a primary source of communication within the PLU community. Make sure to check your PLU email at least once a week. If you don’t want to use your PLU email just yet, it’s easy to forward incoming emails to another email address. Instructions to set up email.
