Diagnosis to Delivery: A Pregnant Mother's Guide to Down Syndrome

BIG NEWS!! We just released the 10 year anniversary edition of Diagnosis to Delivery: A Pregnant Mother's Guide to Down Syndrome in print and free online! Over the past decade, Down Syndrome Pregnancy has distributed over 11,000 Diagnosis to Delivery books to expectant parents preparing for the birth of a baby with Down syndrome.

In addition, nearly half a million visitors have used the website, which includes articles that give supplemental information for each book chapter. Please celebrate our tenth anniversary with us this year by checking out what's new in the book, and please share!

What's new in this edition?

  • All new parent stories about different topics ... thanks to contributions from parents across the country!
  • New resources (like podcasts, gift basket programs, new organizations, new books, and more)
  • Updated research

Thanks so much to the entire team of content creators, reviewers, supporters, and contributors for making this possible!

We'll also be celebrating with a podcast series featuring book creators and contributors, book updates, giveaways, and so much more throughout the rest of the year!

What has Diagnosis to Delivery Meant to You? 10 Years of Support

With over 11,000 books distributed in the past 10 years, we want to know what your experiences have been,

One sweet mom, Megan Mejia, from Kansas City shares,

"This book was such a comfort and relief during my pregnancy. When I read the thoughts and feelings of the other mothers in the book, it made me feel less guilty about all of the questions swirling around in my mind. I would highly recommend this book to any expecting mother of one of our extra special babies. It answers questions you didn't even know you had."

Throughout the rest of the year, we'll be featuring stories from families all over the country, and we want yours to be one of them. Please consider sharing your story this month to get a chance to win a framed, signed photo from Andy Meredith, a photographer with Down syndrome who is also the 20-year-old son of Diagnosis to Delivery  co-author, Stephanie Meredith.

We Need Your Support to Give Lifelines

Our books are always available free online. This was core to our model from the very beginning because we wanted anyone who needed support to be able to get it right away. We also do our best to translate as many resources as possible into Spanish, so your donations make a big difference in giving us the funding we need to keep these materials updated, free online, and available in Spanish.
