Recent Work

As ever, a busy couple of months working with vulnerable and marginalised groups throughout the UK.

We delivered two five-week courses using drama and theatre  to explore recovery from substance misuse.  Participants commented on the value of the course in enabling them to develop new skills and reflect on their own journey.

Broadmoor Hospital

A week delivering workshops with patients in Mental Illness and Personality Disorder wards, looking at themes such as interpersonal relationships, self esteem and building healthy communities.   A challenging residency with great feedback from staff and participants.

The Forward project at Anawim Women's Centre

Funded by Lloyds TSB Foundation, we have been delivering ten-week courses, exploring choice, responsibility and change with women who have experience of the criminal justice system, using theatre techniques to encourage building skills in self-esteem, communication and goal-setting.

Bridgend Looked After Children

A creative residency with young people in care, working with them to create and perform a public performance at the annual LAC awards ceremony.  Staff commented that the experience of sharing their stories on stage will be a memory they keep forever.

The Other Side of the Wall Training Course

Our popular three-day training course in Geese methodology was a big hit in March with participants calling it 'an uplifting and liberating experience on both a personal and professional level'

The Other Side of the Wall invites participants to experience and practise a variety of theatre and drama-based methods for use in groupwork, focussing on some of the basic principles behind the company’s use of drama with people in the criminal justice system.

The course will run again on 22 - 24 September 2014.  Registration is open and you can get more information by clicking on the image above.
