Although it is officially Autumn in NZ, you would be forgiven for thinking it was the middle of summer - temperatures have been soaring and the sun just keeps going and going - Not that we're complaining!! We have a couple of exciting updates this month, including the introduction of Hamilton Gardens and my upcoming paternity leave - Take a read below.

TRNZ Welcomes Hamilton Gardens

Tourism Results New Zealand is extremely happy to announce the addition of Hamilton Gardens to the TRNZ family. Over the past few months we have been working closely with the team from the Gardens on the best strategy for showcasing these AMAZING gardens to our clients, agents and wholesalers around the world.

For those wanting to add something a little special to your itineraries, especially on the travel day from Auckland to Rotorua, then Hamilton Gardens is an obvious choice.
The conceptual Gardens is based in the Waikato and explores the context, history and meaning of gardens through time and from around the world. It is internationally recognised for its unique concept and is the Waikato’s most visited tourist destination.

Guided tours at Hamilton Gardens transport visitors through time and to far-flung corners of the world. Visit a lush tropical jungle, ancient China or enjoy the splendour of a Renaissance Prince’s 16th century garden. Around every corner there is something different, something to delight.

Finally, I wish to take this opportunity to thank all my friends in the tourism industry for the support to date with our expected first child due to arrive in this world between the dates of the 31st March and 4th April. I trust everyone will understand during this time I may literally have my hands full so if I do go bush for a few days then you will now know why!! I will most definitely be working up until the time and begin again shortly after the birth of our wee boy. I will update my phone message during this time to provide updates on the situation.
