Arts Week 2015

The School of Arts annual springtime opportunity to showcase its exciting research and teaching profile. The topics of curiosity, phantasmagoria and the 18th century will come together in a series of more than 40 fascinating and free public lectures, discussions, workshops and performances. Arts week runs from 18 to 23 May, in and around School of Arts at Gordon Square.

The Athena Project: Women Lawyers

This exhibition champions women who have succeeded in a profession where women remain significantly unrepresented in senior roles. It brings together Birkbeck’s School of Law and the College's Equality and Diversity team, working with international law form CMS Cameron McKenna and photographer Leonora Saunders. See also the Arts Week discussion event on May 18, 6pm-9pm.

Student Loans Company is encouraging full-time students who are starting or continuing a full-time course this autumn to apply online now for their funding from Student Finance England.

Postgraduate Support Scheme for final-year for full-time undergraduates

For students starting their studies from October 2015, Birkbeck has a limited number of new £10,000 postgraduate scholarships. These scholarships are for students progressing from a full-time undergraduate degree to a part-time Master’s degree starting in 2015/16.

Self-service Library reservations
Library top-up unit

Requested books can now be picked up and checked out without having to queue. The reservations pick-up shelf is next to the self-service machines on the ground floor. Please ask a member of staff if you need any help.
