SPARCS General Assembly

The SPARCS General Assembly will take place online in the week from the 5th to the 9th of October 2020.

This meeting is a great opportunity for all SPARCS partners to recap the work on the project in its first year as well as a chance to exchange knowledge and experience on building up positive energy districts and a variety of topics that the project covers.

Various parallel sessions will address the first year developments in both Lighthouse cities: Espoo and Leipzig, as well as present a Fellow cities showcase and focus on future replication activities, while building up an ambitious City Vision 2050.

All public information from the sessions will be shared online.

#WEMOVESMART - JOINT SCC SOCIAL CAMPAIGN FOR EU MOBILITY WEEK

On the occasion of the next EU Mobility Week, which will take place from the 16th to the 22nd of September, 17 smart cities projects will launch a virtual flash mob #WeMoveSmart to raise the issue of sustainable mobility in cities.

The transport sector is one of the main causes of air pollution in urban areas and shifting to green mobility is fundamental to guarantee a good quality of life to cities’ inhabitants.

The European Mobility week, whose theme this year is “Zero-emission mobility for all”, is the perfect occasion to raise awareness on this important topic.
