Old school lectures still prevail in science classes, but not at UBC
|
An analysis of more than 2,000 classes at colleges and universities across North America found that 55 per cent of science classes continue to be dominated by lecture-based teaching. However, at UBC, only 15 per cent of science classes are dominated by lectures.
