Hi Everyone

The last couple of weeks have seen iNsingizi turn green, then orange, then red!  Weddings have been the order of the day and it has been our privilege to share in not 1, but 3 weddings in the last month.  Congratulations to Emily and John, Gary and Bonnie and Daniel and Tazmin!  It really was wonderful to share your very special day with you, your friends and your families.  We are looking forward to having you back next year to celebrate your anniversaries.

Mid Illovo Mountain Bike Challenge Mid Illovo Mountain Bike Challenge and Trail run took place earlier this month, with iNsingizi sponsoring the trail run and hosting a water table on the 40km mountain bike race.  Although the weather did not play its part, we had a ball ensuring the cyclists who persevered were well looked after (we even washed their bikes while they stopped for a drink and a brownie)!  The trail ran through the lodge itself – we are hoping they will all come back when they are not in such a hurry and spend time relaxing and give their muscles a well deserved massage. Local lad ……………. won and was presented with the new iNsingizi Trophy. To see pics of the event our Facebook page has loads – you will not believe the weather at times! Well done to all who took part!

Royal Wedding Celebrations The Royal Wedding was celebrated in style at the lodge with a "Heels, Hats and High Tea" party.   Scones, cucumber sandwiches and champagne were the order of the day.  I think we will have to throw a braai when our local lass marries her Prince later in the year!

Pamper your mum this Mother's Day May is MOTHER’S DAY month, and we have something special planned – bring your mum to iNsingizi in May and we will shower her with attention, pampering and throw in a bottle of bubbly because no celebration is complete without it!
