There is never a bad time to talk about how we can take better care of ourselves and love ourselves more. But there’s something about an impending election that makes the conversation all the more timely and important.

These next few weeks leading up to the election will prove to be difficult for most of us. Our daily interactions with others will teeter on disagreements and flirt with division, forcing us into uncomfortable conversations. And the “news?” In every corner lurks a potential explosion of emotions!

So what can we do to calm the inner angst and anxiety we feel about candidates, family, and friends who see things so differently than us? I outline some simple steps in this week’s blog post.
