ISO 45001 Update
EAGLE is happy to share that we are developing our transition plan for the ISO 45001 standard that is replacing OHSAS 18001.
This new standard was released in March 2018 and all sites that are currently OHSAS 18001 are required to have completed their audit and have a 45001 Certification in place by March 2021.
Additionally, the IAF released Mandatory Documents 21 and 22 to support the new standard.

Scheme Owners are Now Known as Certification Programme Owners (CPOs)
Have you heard the term CPOs and wondered what it meant? The GFSI Board approved to change the name "scheme owners" to "certification programme owners (CPOs)" in April of 2017. The terminology change was prompted to "improve clarity in communications with a broader community".

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration announced in May 2018 "new regulatory guidance clarifying the longstanding 150 air-miles hours-of-service agricultural commodity exemption" as well as other additional details about the "personal conveyance" specification.
