Nexus 5001™ Forum Use of Nexus Based Software Development Tools for Powertrain ECU's Webinar

Nexus 5001™ Forum recently held a webinar entitled "Use of Nexus Based Software Development Tools for Powertrain ECU's."

This one-hour webinar provided a technical overview and examples of Nexus 5001™ application in the automotive domain, including discussion of features supported in typical microcontrollers, and how Nexus 5001™ is used by major automotive customers.

ICAP Conference on Conformity Assessment Update

Originally planned for 1-2 November 2012, the ICAP Conference on Conformity Assessment has been rescheduled until April 2013.  

When:  10-11 April 2013
Where:  IEEE, 445 Hoes Lane, Piscataway, NJ

The 2nd IEEE Conformity Assessment Program (ICAP) Conference on Conformity Assessment will provide attendees with a forum for discussion and presentations that will address the growing importance conformity assessment plays in today’s evolving market place. Keynoted by Gordon Gillerman, Chief, Standards Services Division, National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), the conference will demonstrate how conformity assessment can further strengthen the standard development process. The registration fee for the full conference is $100. Early registration prior to 8 March 2013 will qualify for a 50% registration fee discount. Sponsorship opportunities are available.

Program Profile Series: Printer Working Group


The Printer Working Group (PWG) is an IEEE-ISTO program that was chartered to enable printers, multi-function devices, and the applications and operating systems supporting them to work together better. Originally founded in 1991 as the Network Printing Alliance, the PWG’s members include printer and multi-function device manufacturers, print server developers, operating system providers, print management application developers, and industry experts.

PWG has several Working Group Initiatives underway, including Cloud Imaging, Imaging Device Security, Internet Printing Protocol, Semantic Model, and Imaging Management Solutions. For more information, visit the PWG website.
