Just as the world continues to adapt to the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic, we in the St. Ambrose Advancement & Alumni Engagement Office do the same. The university moved to a distance learning model in March, many of our events have been postponed, and staff does much of their work from the safety of their homes, as we do our part to model social distancing best practices that will help to slow the spread. With all of these changes, comes new opportunities. During this time, we will be sending you, our alumni, an electronic newsletter. It will provide the latest information on our event plans, opportunities to stay connected to the university, ways you can help SAU continue its mission, as well a few bright spots from around campus. We hope that this new effort provides us with a way to remain connected during these times. Every year, we rely on support from our alumni, and this year that is truer than ever. Our annual 24-hour challenge is a call to action to all Bees to think about their time at St. Ambrose and give back to SAU. This year, we are highlighting ways to help the university navigate the COVID-19 crisis and make a St. Ambrose education affordable to all. Our Institute for Person-Centered Care (IPCC) has special podcasts regarding Person-Centered Care (PCC) through this pandemic. SAU's IPCC is leading the conversation on transforming people, organizations and systems' approach to the delivery of care. PCC is a multi-discipline approach to care that is: co-designed, relationship-based, health-focused, accessible and integrated.
