Royal Commission Forums The Royal Commission into Institute Responses to Child Sexual Abuse will be hosting a series of forums aimed at informing CALD communities about the work of the commission. The forums is an opportunity to learn more about the commission's work on Child Sexual Abuse, how to better protect children and also for participants to share ideas. Edith Cowan University (ECU) has opened the applications for the first Humanitarian Scholarship at ECU. The purpose of the Humanitarian scholarship is to assist undergraduate students who are either first generation descendants of a refugee or are refugees themselves. Applicants must be currently enrolled or intending to enrol in semester one, 2016 in an undergraduate bachelor degree course at Edith Cowan University. The application deadline has just been extended to Friday 8th April. If appropriate, we would really appreciate if you could promote this scholarship among your membership or if you could suggest other avenues.

This resource provides a detailed overview of the young people arriving in Australia through the Migration Programme, including where they are settling on arrival and comparisons with groups arriving during the previous five years.
