Fabric

In 2015, Vancouver-based artist Rebecca Bayer and artist/architect Matthew Soules created an installation called City Fabric. Using 800 lineal feet of orange construction netting, the pair stretched the material between concrete piers of the Burrard Street Bridge. Remarkable times call for a remarkable effort.

Even with our team’s physical distance, H&W remains connected and fully operational. Our priority is everyone’s well-being, and we are all working remotely to advance projects and support our clients. In a knowledge economy, we can meet, discuss and create from our homes. Maybe sometimes in our pyjamas.

Reach out, we are here.

Jamison Steeve
Identity

Jamison Steeve, the former Executive Director at the Institute for Competitiveness & Prosperity, has taken his considerable talents into the consultancy sector. A veteran of public policy for the province of Ontario, Jamison is now using his skills in research and leadership to advise large-scale organizations, in addition to lecturing at McGill University. He approached H&W to craft a simple brand identity for his new entrepreneurial work with the notion that he wanted an icon of some sort. His son rather innocently suggested a fox, and well, it just fit. Foxes are smart, agile, adaptable, playful and creative – which can be easily said about Jamison. As the saying goes, “the fox knows many things.”
