PBPA's 2026 Annual Reception

Thank you for your continued support of Pro Bono Partnership of Atlanta. We kicked off 2026 by recognizing our 2025 donors and volunteers at our annual Appreciation Reception.

We were generously hosted by Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton, and we enjoyed seeing and celebrating with so many of you.

We also inducted 13 volunteers who have taken more than 50 pro bono matters, as well as one volunteer who has taken almost 150 pro bono matters (Michelle Johnson!), into the inaugural PBPA Hall of Fame. See them all here.

Thank you to everyone who attended, our generous sponsors Western Alliance Bank, Clarivate, Consilio, Truist, and Veritext, and our awardees for their service to PBPA and Georgia's nonprofit community.

With gratitude,

Rachel Spears
Executive Director

PBPA Updates & New Staff

We'd like to extend a warm welcome to Amy Dosik, a longtime PBPA volunteer, as the newest member of our staff. Amy serves as part-time Tax Counsel, helping to advise our clients on tax-exempt compliance and related legal issues. Prior to joining PBPA, Amy had a 30-year career in the nonprofit sector as a management consultant, attorney and public accounting tax advisor. She also served as CEO of Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta.

We are thrilled to welcome Amy and the depth of expertise she brings to help strengthen nonprofits across Georgia!

PBPA is also proud to introduce our new text alert for our Volunteer Opportunities. To receive monthly notice of new projects, text VOLOPS to (770) 600-2966.
Text messages are for the sole purpose of sending volunteer opportunities - we will not text you for fundraising or other purposes.

Your guidance and willingness to share your knowledge were incredibly helpful as we work to ensure we are supporting our participants and their families in the most responsible and informed way possible. Having access to your expertise gave us clarity on an important issue, and we truly appreciate the care and professionalism you brought to the conversation. Support like yours helps strengthen the work we are doing and ultimately benefits the community we serve.

Rachel Gage has literally been our angel in the outfield as we are navigating these unchartered waters. For the first time in a long time, I finally understood what our program participants said when they would tell me "You make me feel safe and seen." I finally had that same experience, and it makes a world of difference.

We want to thank you for your time, guidance and expertise on our sponsorship agreement.  We appreciate you listening to all of our concerns and then making sure those were all addressed in the document.  We are excited to be able to go into sponsorship conversations with the documentation and language we need to advocate for our organization.  I can't even begin to tell you what a huge relief this is for us.
