Terroir / Region: Strewn Rogue’s Lot Cabernet Sauvignon/Cabernet Franc is grown and made in the Niagara Peninsula region of Ontario. Lake Ontario moderates temperatures in this area allowing red grapes that favour warmer climates (like Cabernet) to ripen well in the pockets of warmer air, called microclimates in the wine biz, which form throughout the region.
