Homecoming and Family Weekend

Plan to attend Homecoming and Family Weekend Oct. 15 - 17! Visit your student and participate in a special free parent luncheon on Saturday, hosted by Parent Council and with a welcome from President Susan Schultz Huxman. Registration required to attend. 

Common Read 

Each year, EMU's annual Common Read establishes common ground for discussion in classrooms and other venues. Read more about this year's selection, the New York Times bestseller Just Mercy: A Story of Justice and Redemption by Bryan Stevenson.  

'Here Together' Week

Before students arrive, EMU employees gather for an annual "faculty/staff conference." This year, the week kicked off with a a neighborhood trash pick-up and ended with free homemade ice cream and a concert downtown. In between, 12 other events brought  employees into the Harrisonburg community to share talents, time and fellowship.
