On the 4 March, pupils from two primary schools and one secondary school within the Diocese, gathered together at the Frontier Centre in Irthlingborough to celebrate their shared journey as part of Flourish. The Up2U Youth Club, based at St Mark’s Church in Wellingborough, has celebrated a remarkable milestone: ten years of volunteer-led work with children and young people from the local community. Coffee Ark, a social action initiative co-founded by the Bishop’s Missioner, the Revd Canon Becky Dyball, is bringing an imaginative and hope-filled approach to community engagement across the Diocese of Peterborough. The Sleep Out brought together 84 participants inside the historic Peterborough Cathedral to experience a small glimpse of the cold and uncertainty faced by those experiencing homelessness. St Mary the Virgin Church, Finedon has been awarded a grant by The National Lottery Heritage Fund to to support an ambitious renewal project designed to improve accessibility, open up more of the historic building for wider community use and ensure that the much‑loved place of worship continues to thrive for generations to come. Light Project Peterborough is the Bishop’s Charity for 2026. As part of our focus on their work we hear Mick's story.
