In the Macro Scheduler 13 release notes we declared a known issue with the text capture functions when used to capture from a window or rectangular screen area if the underlying window belonged to a 64 bit process. And we promised to release a fix as soon as it was made available to us.

Well I’m pleased to say it is now here. v13.0.03 includes the fixed text capture libraries which address this issue.  The number of DLLs required by compiled scripts that use the text capture functions has also been reduced.

Please note that this fix has necessitated a small change to the way point capture works in the Text Capture Code Wizard.  Nothing major - you just need to hold Shift down while pointing the mouse at the location you want to capture from.

We've also found a workaround for the annoying help system bug which was introduced by the new version of the language we use to create Macro Scheduler.   

V13.0.03 also fixes a few other small issues and you’ll find a complete list of changes here.

Just a reminder that version 9 and lower will be "end-of-lifed" on 1st January 2012.  

We do our best to support all our customers whatever version they are using. But there are only so many versions we can run. So after a few years we need to officially “end-of-life” older versions.

To that end, as of January 1st 2012 we will no longer be supporting Macro Scheduler v9 or lower.

We will continue to provide support for customers using v10 or later.  However, please note that we only maintain the most current version (currently v13).  It is well worth ensuring you have up to date maintenance to ensure you are always eligible for the latest release.
