CGS Student Government Scholarships
Success and Determination Scholarship
Recognizes a CGS student who has demonstrated, in an extraordinary way, the ability to overcome life’s obstacles in order to obtain his/her education.
Outstanding Student Scholarship
Given to a CGS student who has obtained academic excellence and has demonstrated a distinguished record of service and leadership to student government or student organizations in the College of General Studies, the University, and/or the community.
Nontraditional Student Study Abroad Scholarship
Given to a CGS student to assist a nontraditional student to study abroad during his or her academic career.

CGS Supplemental Aid Scholarship
Spring 2014 scholarships of $1,000 are available for CGS students with financial need. Scholarships will be awarded on a rolling basis until funds run out. Fill out an application today! Allegheny County Fellows in Local Government Program
The Allegheny Department of Human Services (DHS) is accepting applications for a one-year fellowship. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree related to the field of human services, as well as experience working in the field, and a long-term interest in a career in public service. Read More>
