Thanks to everyone that came to the Spring 2013 Business Career Fair & BCS Spring 2013 Public Accounting Firms Fair.  During the two days, we recorded over 2,000 students in attendance!!  We hope that you were able to network with those you know, meet new employers and alumni, discover great opportunities at companies big and small, new and old, and get your professional headshot taken at the photo booth.    Remember to follow up via email with those companies from whom you obtained contact information!!!

Of those students in attendance, we had over 400 stop by for their pre-printed name tags in BIF 1041!  We hope that as you spread the word to your friends, we will have more students use this service before the fall 2013 career fair as it definitely provides a more polished and professional look to the employers!!!

On-campus recruiting is in full swing, so put in the time now as application deadlines are quickly approaching!!!  Check “Interviews I Qualify for” and “Jobs I Qualify for” on the job board and use “Advanced Search” to target the postings that best meet your needs.  For details on how to apply, login to your I-Link Business homepage. 

Remember to research the companies, even companies that you have never heard of, and APPLY!!! These companies want to hire University of Illinois students!  Don’t overlook a company just because you don’t recognize their name or because they are small or growing…you might find an opportunity to get a broad overview of the business and get exposure to all levels of management.
