Unger’s space-saving yet very legible Vesta was inspired by letters on a frieze in the Temple of Vesta in Tivoli. Originally designed for an information system in Rome, Big Vesta was conceived as a headline version for Vesta. Nevertheless, Big Vesta works extremely well in the smaller font sizes.
