4 Ways to Cut Kitchen Clutter

The kitchen may be the heart of the home, but it's also home to a lot of clutter. Resolve to bring order to your kitchen once and for all with these tips, courtesy of the experts at Moen.

1. You don't need a large pantry or countless cupboards and drawers to find the perfect spot for all your stuff. If you have blank space on the walls, consider adding a few open shelves. They provide plenty of storage while keeping everyday dishes and staples, like the coffee canister or cookie jar, within easy reach.

2. The biggest pain point for homeowners is a lack of counter space. Instead of adding to the chaos, designate a specific "drop zone" for items that find their way into the kitchen each day, like mail, paperwork or electronics...

HillCrest Baby Back Ribs

KB’s Crock-Pot Baby Back Rib Rub & Glaze

Dry Rub Ingredients:
• 1/4 cup sweet paprika
• 1 Tbsp black pepper
• 1 Tbsp garlic powder
• 2 teaspoons cumin
• 2 teaspoons cayenne
• 1 teaspoon dry mustard
• 1/2 teaspoon celery seed
• 1/8 teaspoon dried thyme 
• 1 teaspoon salt

 

 
 

Mix together ingredients and coat ribs thoroughly with dry rub. Place ribs in crock pot, cover and cook on low 8 – 10 hours. 

Glaze Ingredients:  
• 1/4 cup ketchup  
• 2 Tbsp packed dark brown sugar
• 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
• 1 Tbsp soy sauce

Combine ketchup, brown sugar, Worcestershire & soy sauce; mix well. Remove ribs from Crock-pot and discard cooking liquid. Coat ribs with sauce; return to Crock-Pot and cook on HIGH 30 minutes or until ribs are glazed.

*TIP: Making more than 2 racks of ribs? Double the glaze recipe!
