KALA Honors Radio Classic with Localized Adaptation

St. Ambrose students will escape the Twitter-verse and the expanding world of social media to experience a time when radio was the sole means of instant mass communication. On Oct. 30, KALA-FM will celebrate the 75th anniversary of "War of the Worlds" by airing a student production of the famed radio play. A listening party and best costume contest will be held at the Bee Hive. Read about it.

Join Us For Family Weekend Nov. 8-10

St. Ambrose will host its annual Family Weekend Nov. 8-10. A carnival, trivia contest and chamber concert are among the events scheduled to happen on campus. See a schedule of events here.

Big Name Bands to Rock Rogalski Center

SAU students scooped up 800 tickets for the Plain White T's and Parachute concert on Nov. 17 in a matter of four hours. Now, even the lead organizer is looking for a way into the Campus Activities Board-sponsored event. Read about it.

Oldest Alum Active Until The End

At the age of 105, Glenn Brown still was cutting wood, driving, managing his stock portfolio and donating to St. Ambrose. Our oldest alumni died on Sept. 21. Read about his long, accomplished life.

Benefit for Jason Richter Nov. 15

Help Director of Student Engagement Jason Richter in his fight against cancer. The benefit will be held at CASI in Davenport. There will be bingo, food, a cash bar and entertainment for the kids. Silent auction items include Iowa tickets and country club foursomes. Read about the event.
