Lakeland's latest cycling odyssey - pedal by day, pod by night

Cyclists can now tour the Lake District's best-loved highlights on a four-day break which will see them waking every morning to a new vista from their camping pod accommodation.

The itinerary, which covers just under 70 miles of scenic grandeur, has been put together by three of Cumbria's most highly acclaimed holiday parks, all independently owned.
The "Pod 'n' Pedal" break begins in the north of Cumbria and works its way south via country lanes, roads and cycle paths, suitable for both road and mountain bikes.  Spending one night in a pod at Castlerigg Hall, The Quiet Site and Park Cliffe.  Available outside of school holidays.
