Spider has supported several initiatives that focused on increasing ICT access and use among women. This publication offers a review of these initiatives. The uses of ICT were related to women’s everyday activities to demystify the technology. The success of the projects hinged on the extent to which technology was adapted to suit women’s reality and not vice versa.
