This is first time the three leading think-tanks from across the political spectrum will be working together to ask how we can fight child poverty after the financial crisis.
All three major parties have committed to ending child poverty, but there are real differences in how it is believed this can be achieved. How far is it the state's responsibility? What are the most effective ways of alleviating poverty? Will the recession mean the poverty agenda gets crunched? Which party deserves a mandate for fighting poverty at the next General Election?
