These include writings and artworks - with some submissions in Thai and Vietnamese! The Toitoi Media team now have the difficult job of narrowing down these beautiful, heartfelt pieces for this year's Southeast Asia journal, which will be issued in January 2020. Every primary, intermediate school and public library in New Zealand will receive a copy of the journal. Indonesian teachers visit New ZealandThe Global Schools Partnership Project saw six New Zealand teachers travel to Jakarta, Indonesia to get a taste of Indonesian education, life, and culture in April 2019. Their Indonesian partner teachers have now, in turn, visited New Zealand to learn about our culture and education in June. As well as establishing education partnerships between their respective schools, they plan to maintain long-term connections between their students, which will continue to strengthen as the relationship develops over time. |
