Mark Callaghan's Welcome

Dear WorldSkills Australia Supporter,

Throughout the last few weeks I, and other WSA national office staff have had the opportunity to travel around the country visiting several WSA Regions. During these visits we have been able to be a part of presentation ceremonies where we have recognised the efforts of not only the regional competitors but also the dedicated regional volunteers, judges, convenors, trainers and mentors.

On the 22nd of October, I had the privilege of attending the NSW Ministers Recognition function for the NSW based Skillaroos. This has become a regular event following the WorldSkills International Competition and provides a great way to recognise and acknowledge the many hours of hard work and training, the dedication and commitment of the NSW-based Skillaroos and Experts as well as the many teachers and trainers who work tirelessly behind the scenes.
