Welcome CGS’ New Visiting Instructor Carol Trent
CGS alumna Carol LS Trent (Administration of Justice and Humanities, ’05) has returned to CGS—this time as a visiting instructor in Administration of Justice. In addition to teaching (Ms. Trent currently teaches Deviance and the Law), she will be developing four on-ground CGS courses into online courses for the 2014-14 academic year. Read more>

CAAP Testing
Calling all degree-seeking CGS students: We need your help! CGS is looking for students to participate in a liberal arts reading comprehension assessment designed to measure our programs. The assessment is offered at various times and location from November 6-16. Participants will receive a $20 Giant Eagle gift card. Apply for the G. Alec Stewart Student Achievement Award
This Award recognizes students in their junior year who are judged to best symbolize the values of the University Honors College and of the University generally. Four students will be selected annually for this award, each to receive a prize of $1,000. Read more>

The Community-Based Research Fellowship Program supports University of Pittsburgh undergraduate students while they are conducting community-based research projects with an award of $800 for a semester. More>
