Summer is upon us!

And, it's time to revisit your stream locations to
make your water quality observations!

Plan to sample during the Summer Sampling Event
ANYTIME during the month of July! 

We have decided to expand the sampling window to the entire month to enable greater flexibility for everyone.

SALT RIVER BASIN SAMPLERS will still have the opportunity to collect water samples for lab analysis, but that will only be possible on July 12 and 13.  If Salt River Basin samplers need mailed supplies,
please register by June 15.

Seeking new Support Hubs
for our Samplers!

We are inviting local partners to serve as Support Hubs to help our stream samplers in various ways, such as hosting and loaning equipment, serving as trainers, providing meeting space, and helping with ideas for community projects. If you know of an ideal location in your area, please direct them to find more information on the Watershed Watch website and reach out to us with any questions or to express their interest in fulfilling this important role.

A webinar to provide more information about the Support Hub role and answer questions is planned for Friday, June 21 from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m.  If you are interested in participating, please send an email to contact@kywater.org.

Join us for an in-person
sampler training session!

If you haven't already been trained in Watershed Watch's new procedures, you can start learning how to sample your chosen stream by completing the online training modules.

Then, sign up for an in-person training workshop in your area to practice what you've learned.

Kroger Community Rewards

Register your Kroger Card to make contributions to Kentucky Watershed Watch through Kroger's Community Rewards Program.

Visit http://www.kroger.com. Once logged into your Kroger account, search for Kentucky Watershed Watch, either by name or IB229, and then click Enroll. New users will need to create an account which requires some basic information, a valid email address and a Rewards card.

Enrollment must be renewed annually in August.  We will send a reminder later this summer.  Thanks to all who help support Kroger in this way!
