Appetite: The Kitchen Programme 2014 

Appetite aims to invest in the creation of new accessible art works for public spaces and is about developing art, artists and Stoke-on-Trent’s regional and national profile within the arts. The Kitchen is a professional development programme open to artists, arts organisations, creative practitioners and producers from across the UK that offers a range of opportunities to develop or strengthen skills and capacity, develop new ideas and share practice. WDC Arts Development Grants 2014-15 

Grants are available to arts and heritage organisations working within Warwick District for any amount up to £1,500. Children In Need Grants 

Open to charities and not-for-profit organisations working with children and young people aged 18 and under experiencing disadvantage.
Main Grant: for grants over £10,000 per year for up to three years. Deadline 15 Sep 2014.

Random Acts Network Centres - Funding 

Arts Council England is looking for arts organisations to apply to form brand new Random Acts Network Centres, and to create a ‘network’ comprising partnerships with other cultural, educational and creative media organisations. These centres will help to develop young talent, aged 16-24, and provide entry points for the arts and creative industries. Each partnership will form a ‘network’ within each of the five Arts Council Areas which will deliver a package of activity including education, training and production support to collectively facilitate the creation of 120 short films per year. University of Leicester, School of Museum Studies - Distance Learning Scholarships 

Scholarships are now available for students wishing to commence their studies by distance learning in October and April. Oct 2014: 3 awards of £2k for students currently working or volunteering in the UK museums or heritage sector and 3 open awards of £1k. Apr 2015: 2 open awards of £2k and 2 open awards of £1k. Performing arts opportunities

New Dancers Required 

Indian female-based dance group is auditioning for new dancers aged 18+ to join to perform at various events. The group specialises in Indian dance - Punjabi Folk (Bhangra and Giddha) and Bollywood. Dance experience advantageous although experience in this specific style is not necessary.
