Winter came early to the St. Ambrose campus this year as final stages of the exterior renovation of Ambrose Hall were underway. While the frigid cold and snow linger still, the scaffolding is gone, and our iconic building shines in the winter sun. As alumni and friends of the university, you know that Ambrose Hall symbolizes our proud history, and we want it to be here for future students to enjoy. It is because of President’s Club donors like you that we can both honor our past and meet the needs of current and future Ambrosians. Thank you for your loyal support of St. Ambrose University. Passing Civil Rights Torch to a New Generation of AmbrosiansProgramming during Civil Rights Week honored the Civil Rights Movement, its impact and its implications in modern times. Sister Joan led a silent march across campus, beginning in the Chapel with a brief presentation by local historian Charles Pearson, who spoke about the role St. Ambrose played in the local movement. |
