Launch of Tech Savvy Elders

In January 2013, we launched Tech Savvy Seniors in partnership with the NSW Office for Ageing, Department of Family and Community Services NSW.  The Tech Savvy Seniors program aims to deliver digital literacy training to around 15,000 senior Australians over 18 months. This month we held the inaugural Tech Savvy Elders training session for Indigenous seniors at the National Centre for Indigenous Excellence.  Read more

Seeking a digital start-up with a social heart

Telstra Foundation and Social Traders are seeking a digital start-up with a social heart that wants some help getting its idea off the ground. The successful start-up will receive funding from Social Traders to help them take part in The Crunch - a highly successful six month incubation program. A Telstra Foundation Everyone Connected grant is helping to better educate and prepare Footscray students for real life situations and issues they may face online, including privacy and bullying.
