PROJECT UPDATES

The CID has commissioned a Freight Plan to address freight movement and infrastructure along the busy I-85 corridor within our district.

The Beaver Ruin Road Mid-block Crossing has been approved to move forward.  Look for activity along this busy stretch in the coming months.

The Beaver Ruin Creek Trail Concept Study will concentrate on transportation and green space needs in the district.

Inaugural Taste Tour A Huge Success

Graves Park Expansion

In August, Gwinnett County broke ground on an expansion of Graves Park that will include an interactive fountain and a new soccer field.

Metro Atlanta Redevelopment Summit October 25   - 

Gateway85 CID is proud to be the keynote sponsor as we join Partnership Gwinnett and more than 250 regional developers, commercial real estate brokers, elected officials, business leaders and community development experts from across the metro Atlanta region for a half-day of networking and learning about industry defining redevelopment projects and best practices trending in metro Atlanta.

GATEWAY ON-THE-GO

Transit Forum hosted by the AARP's Age-Friendly Atlanta Advisory Council

On September 13th, Marsha participated as a panelist and discussed Metro Atlanta’s current transit situation and what the impact of the new ATL Transit will bring to Metro Atlanta and Gwinnett County. 

Strategic Leadership Visit

In Mid- September, Marsha joined a group who participated in the Gwinnett Chamber's annual strategic leadership visit where they heard best practices and lessons learned from others making an impact in their region.

GACS Summer Intern Fellowship Program

On September 26th we spent time with our friends at Greater Atlanta Christian School celebrating the success of their Summer Intern Fellowship Program.  Our GACS intern, Michael O'Reilly, gave a  presentation on his time at Gateway85 CID and all he learned.
