Guerilla Marketing

Mini Cooper always does cool stuff

What can you say about Mini Cooper's marketing? It's always inventive. This installation, in the Zurich, Switzerland central train station, tells a "huge" story with virtually no words. (And we don't even think they needed the one word on the door.) It's one of those things that puts a smile on people's faces. If you ever doubt something like this could be done here, remember: any space that can provide income for a public place may be very welcome. Check out some of Mini Cooper's other guerilla and outdoor marketing campaigns.

Social Networking

Will social networking ever replace traditional marketing?

Word-of-mouth is obviously the most influential method of marketing. As social networking creates new communities, people look to kindred spirits for advice about the best (fill in the blank: Ohio home builder / Las Vegas Italian restaurant / doctor / electric nose hair trimmer).  Though you have no control over those discussions, getting your product or service talked about can help... especially if you have a good product! Read about one MSNBC writer's experience with social networking as a source of information here.

Award Winning Work

2009 Marketing Awards

Modest as we are, there's only 1/3 of this email dedicated to the 5 awards we won at the BIA's event last Friday! We won Top Company Brochure, Outstanding Color Ad, Best Direct Mail Campaign and Most Valuable Email Campaign. These pieces also snagged us the Grand Marketing Award for an Associate Member, while our work for Westport Homes helped earn them 3 awards as well as the Grand Marketing Award for a Homebuilder. Check out our recent award winning work here.
