St. Ambrose University

April 2024

Fall has come to St. Ambrose, and the campus is BUZZing with activity.  Construction continues on Ambrose Hall and a renovated BeeHive is now open. Students have survived mid-terms (we hope!) and can enjoy perfect weather for football games and cross country meets.  Please keep this in mind as you read all that has been happening this fall - every aspect of our student experience is enriched by your leadership support. Thank you!

St. Ambrose ranked as one of the Best

St. Ambrose students can rest assured that they made an excellent choice! According to US News & World Report, St. Ambrose is ranked 30th among “Best Regional Universities-Midwest.” This latest ranking is a 10-spot jump from the last report.  In addition, for the 9th consecutive year, St. Ambrose was one of 155 institutions to receive the “Best in the Midwest” designation by the Princeton Review.  The designation relies on student opinion data which referenced “small class sizes and accessible and caring professors.”  Click here for more information, including a piece from local news affiliate CBS4.

Homecoming Highlights

Alumni made their annual pilgrimage back to the St. Ambrose campus in late September, and this year’s homecoming did not pass without its fair share of excitement.  Before the Fighting Bee football team posted their 66-0 victory over the Cardinals of Concordia University at Brady Street Stadium, a plethora of events were held to satisfy everyone’s taste buds.

Spotlight on Sustainability

For the 2013-2014 academic year, Sustainability has been chosen as the focus for the sixth installment in the “annual project series.”  Throughout the year, different events following this theme will take place on campus.  Some of those events include lectures, panel discussions, concerts and art shows in the Catich Gallery.
